Santo Li Vecchi

Production Manager

Santo, in 1992, decided to make the most of his passion, made of love and cooking. Together with his former business associate, he acquires the Pastificio Pratese, which had always been a renowned Tuscan company for the production of gnocchi.
Since then, he spends most of his time creating different types of potato dumplings gnocchi, improving the quality and flavor more and more. Only a few distractions are allowed: animation and karaoke.
He fulfills one of his dreams by widening the company Essedi Pasta Ltd. to his wife Angela and his sons Gianluca and Tommaso. The new company is able to combine tradition and innovation while guaranteeing excellent quality standards even in increased industrial production.


Angela Maio

Warehouse Manager

Angela is the youngest of a large family. She stands out among friends and relatives for her culinary art and her research for cuisine’s flavors typical of the area.
She follows her husband in every adventure, accompanying him on the motorbike outings and sharing with him the passion for karaoke.
Since the beginning of the activity, Angela has always taken care of the warehouse in the production of potato gnocchi produced by Essedi Pasta Ltd.


Gianluca Li Vecchi

Business Manager

Gianluca, born in 1992, is an athlete who loves sports, especially swimming, where he is one of the most relevant paralympic swimmers in Italy. Despite his hemiparesis, there are no set limits for him, neither in sports nor in business.
In 2011 he was appointed Business Manager of Essedi Pasta Ltd., thus becoming passionate about the kitchen and in particular the production of potato gnocchi.
A career to which he dedicates most of his time, but also finding time for his own training and taking care of the human relations of a football team of special need children, part of the great and fantastic association ASD Quartotempo Florence.


Tommaso Li Vecchi

Quality Control Manager

Tommaso, born in 1997, holds a BS Degree in Administration, Finance and Marketing obtained in 2016 from Paolo Dagomari Institute of Technology in Prato. Within the company, he monitors and ensures that the quality of gnocchi reflects the characteristics and principles of LO GNOCCO brand.
Tommaso is a soccer player at the amateur level. This passion was passed on to him by his brother Gianluca, who, been unable to pursue his dream because of the hemiparesis, can see in his brother the determination with which the sibilings now carry on the family business.
