Potato gnocchi with tomato, red beet, garlic and oregano
The recipe for these gnocchi is the same used to make one of the most famous pizzas in Italy: marinara pizza. They are made with tomato, oil, garlic and oregano, combined with the ingredients of our typical recipe used for the production of potato gnocchi.
The name Marinara, that means “from the sea”, derives from the fact that the ingredients, easily preserved, were used by sailors to season the bread, during their long journeys. Simple but with an unforgettable taste!
